URGENT: Earthquake Devastates Haiti, Anglican Relief Mobilizes: $70,000 Raised As of 1/21/2010 !
Haiti, the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere, was struck by a magnitude 7.0 earthquake on Tuesday, January 11. The quake was centered southwest of Port-au-Prince, a city of about 2 million inhabitants. Aftershocks have sparked fear and panic. Reports indicate that most buildings – including hospitals, relief agencies and churches – have collapsed or are unsafe. There is extensive loss of life, and unimaginable injury.

The Anglican Relief and Development Fund (ARDF) is working with our partners to respond with assistance to the victims. "Having led several medical missions to Haiti in the 1970s and 80s, I am particularly concerned for our response to those good and suffering people in our hemisphere’s poorest country. We Anglican Christians need to respond to the devastation both with our prayers and resources," said Archbishop Robert Duncan. You can help Haiti now. Please give generously to the Anglican Relief and Development Fund.

Homelessness is a brand, a stigma.
Branding and stigma's are not a diagnostic measurement in medical science. If I tell a man, homeless, he has an illness that being homeless, he can grab on to it intuitively faster, finding a spark of  hope as the potential of curiosity that a illness cure, exists . Stigmas and brands are not illness concepts as the opposites are not agreeable in all science, faith and cultures. Hope is the first foundation of resilience bonding. It is wellness that brings us all home as the opposite of wellness is illness, and all illnesses incorrectly defined, keep a mind, body and spirit of a distressed veteran,, homeless...The 203 veterans council minutes on the Ethos of Stigmas.

Newman's Own Products Support Military Families
When you buy Newman's Own salad dressings, sauces, popcorn, cereals etc. a portion of the after-tax proceeds come back to the military through Fisher House Foundation and the Newman's Own Awards program.  In 2008 those profits translated into $75,000.00 in grants awarded to 15 volunteer organizations, in all corners of the country and abroad.  Over the nine-year course of the program the foundation has donated more than half a million dollars to more than 114 initiatives that improve the quality of life of military families. Outstanding!
